Mark your calendars, September 30 at the Bonifacio Global City and one of the anticipated races of the year will happen once again, the adidas King of the Road (KOTR)!

There will be three (3) categories: 5k, 10k and 16.8k. This year, the 16.8k has two sub-categories: the Closed and the Open category.

For the Closed category, this is for the Filipino nationals while the Open is for all nationalities. The adidas King and Queen of the Road in the Closed category for the 16.8k will be flown to Singapore (all-expense paid trip) on October 28 for the adidas KOTR Southeast Asia Championship! It will be held at the Gardens by the Bay just behind Marina Bay Sands–the first race to have its finish line there!

The participating Southeast Asian countries are: the Philippines, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia. Last year, the Philippines became the host of the first Southeast Asia Championship. Like the aim of the race to unify the runners across the region, this year a new set of singlets will be made available to all registered runners:

You can register online (click here), online registration is from July 25 to September 15, 2012. You can also register to the following adidas branches from July 25 to September 23, 2012: Megamall, Rockwell, SM Mall of Asia, Trinoma and Greenbelt. Registration fees are as follows: PhP1,050 for 5k and 10k and PhP1,300 for 16.8k.
