This picture was dated March 6, 2011 with Bald Runner himself, Sir Jovie Narcise. I never thought this will soon be a reality as I braved myself to join the 2013 batch of the Bataan Death March 102 km.

This will be the farthest distance and will cap off my running career before pursuing other sports. I am getting nervous whenever I think about this. I hope to finish the distance with minimal injury and with a decent time. I hope to make my running friends and my family proud of me. For sure this will be another defining moment as what I had in The Bull Runner Dream Marathon and my first ultramarathon in PAU’s Tagaytay to Nasugbu 50k.

I wanted to make it secret but I guess it’s already out so might as well post it here. Wish me luck and to all my ultrarunning idols, I hope I won’t disappoint you. Training commences this month.

Bataan Death March 102 will happen on March 1-2, 2013.
